I've never heard of 65 GB/s DDoS protection. Even if there is such a thing, it'd cost several thousand dollars no doubt.
Please just no. So done with users being nosy about the attacks and stuff, just let crew handle it please.
Everyone assumes "oh, he's no longer with skyblock. It must be him behind it!" This happened to me after I got banned. I forget exactly what happened, all I remember is something went wrong right after my demotion and I immediately became the scapegoat for a lot of people, including some of the staff. I'm just lucky Noobcrew wasn't buying it. Anyways, my point is, welcome to Minecraft. This is the kind of crowd you're dealing with. Something goes wrong, they're going to find a person to blame it on no matter how much you tell them not to.
Exactly! Justin and a few of .net members have been saying that Justin does not have anything against this server. It may or may not have been him, but these attacks and forum rollbacks aren't stated that it is by him.
TL;DR For people who aren't reading the above posts: Server was hit with a DDoS that's 650% larger than the server's DDoS protection limits People are blaming Justin, even though there is no proof. For those who are wondering what a DDoS is, it's a Distributed Denial of Service. To my understanding, it's kind of like what would happen if you were sent 6,000,000 emails at the same time. You'd most likely just go "Screw this, I'm not reading all of these" and just stop using your email. Same applies to a computer. (Faris, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
