Something like Microsoft Word you mean? Open Office is pretty good.

 

yeah, I saw open office, but i didn't know if it was a non virus thing.

 

As far as I know it's safe, I never had any issues when I used it.

Go with Open Office. I've used it for years. You choose where the files save, as well as what format they save in (including Word Document format or Rich Text).

 

No problem, and you should be able to tell it where you want your files saved to when you save them.
