In one way I agree with him, mods take much things to overrated.
For example: You are making a mob grinder 24 blocks away and a mod passes by and says: 'are you bridging?'
You say: 'No I'm making a mob grinder' Mod says: 'They don't work'

Most ban appeals are blatant lies or just effortless. How will mods care about your ban appeal when you misspelled your name, half the words in your one sentence ban appeal, and tried to cuss them out and bribe them saying you will donate soon? Most people who beg for forgiveness get it, as long as the crime wasn't really really serious (like... making death threats serious).

Each of the rules have a specific reason. I've been bridged to and griefed on several occasions, so I am thankful for those rules (and logblock). And about donating. Noobcrew gives you a reward for donating. He doesn't have to give you anything for donating, but then nobody would want to donate. I could think of several new rules right now that would benefit the server, but I don't really have much time here atm.

The opinions here are being quoted and floating around, so we aren't necessarily talking to YOU, just bout the things you posted. I'm sure we can have fun on this topic with or without you.

You pulled this from my argument in another thread. XD Thanks. At least I know some people remember the things I say.

As far as the original posting and reason for this thread: I love our rule set. The taking items to a new island rule applies primarily to dirt, buckets, sand, starter items like that. Donors using the fact as an excuse and reason to be let back on the server is bogus because it means nothing to us, other than the fact that they think of it wrongly. As far as mod being harsh, would you listen to us if we weren't? I'm sure we could be lax and give people lots of chances and such, but we would constantly fight the same users for the same problems. Lastly, other users on an account. I have unbanned ONE, count it, ONE account of a user claiming they had a younger sibling online. That because I recall the user doing things in game had have reason to give doubt that the user was lying to me. All other situations were ones where I wasn't going to allow it to slide as an excuse.

Something most mods should already know, users logging on asking to be banned or going out of their way to break rules in front of mods are usually hackers, mad siblings, or the like. Those users usually get tempbanned.
