Do slimes spawn naturally in the game any more?

I ask because I'm trying to find a slime chunk in which to place a spawner but having no success.

As you can see from the picture I've linked, I've paved out about 20 chunks below y=40 to try and find one

It's better to just buy slimeballs, I believe you can buy them at /warp grass

 

I've changed my original post to reflect that I'm on .org not .net so we don't have /warp grass

 

Slimes do not spawn naturally in-game. You will have to find a slime chunk if you wish yo spawn in slimes, I can't think of any other way to make slimes spawn.

 

But how do you find a slime chunk if they don't spawn?

 

I don't know how to find slime chunks and I think only some islands have slime chunks on them, I could be wrong though.

I need an admin with 5 mins to spare to move my spawner around the place to see if it starts kicking out slimes.

I think it'd be fair to say that I've gone as far as I can solo in this adventure

 

you could wait for the mod called reis minimap is has an option to show chunks, and slime chunks. its realy handy.
