Just wondering, why is the list of mods so long? Many of them (I am a .net/hellblock player) are extremely inactive. I have played for approximately 4 months, and in total I have only seen 14 different mods. I live in EST (New York) and I have only seen some once. Do mods ever get demoted from inactivity? Just wondering. -tk
Yes. If they haven't been online for two months then I think they get flagged etc. I'm not too sure how it works now.
Some of the mods are most likely in different time zones than you, and yes some mods to yes demoted for in inactivity
we do have a large list of Active mods in Different timezones from around the World. Not even I've meet them all In game xD
Many live across the world. I talk to a few people that are from Australia and they're 14 hours ahead then us in the EST
Pretty much no. Unless they are VERY inactive without good reason. I was a .Net mod but I resigned because I felt that the team deserved someone who could be on everyday and actually help. I just need to focus more on irl things. So unless they give a good reason they will be warned then demoted after a second (or third. Idk) warning. Others such as Salamander and I chose to do it on our own though
inactivity and not actually doing any moderating when you were on you were a timid young lady who was too nice to even kick anyone.
Don't know who is active or who isn't. But if the current mods get demoted for inactivity, then new mods have to be promoted, and they need to be trusted. Thats why we have the best team so far.. even though some stuff up.. And if you're gonna say "What about tmod rank?" Well it doesn't help one bit, because anyone can get away with tmod rank, what matters is when they are given risky commands like /invsee & we had moderators demoted for this...
#vacation & #timezones it will change from tomorrow onwards As for Nih... Go in staff section you'll see exactly why
