Covered in lava and I can't newisland help

    I started on an island spawning in the lava block, I finally got out but was on fire now the whole island is covered in lava and I can reset it. the /newisland command never resets it the island stays as lava covered is there a way to fix this otherwise it's not playable for me.

    Next time you're online, ask a friend or a mod to put a fire resistance potion on you :) then you can /home and fix the lava problem

    If you are willing to give up your progress do /newislandreplace to get a new island.

    It may also be possible for a moderator to tp to the coordinates and remove the lava.
