I placed slabs everywhere so the pigmen spawn exclusively in the trap. I then replaced a good portion of the trap flooring with signs. I would have hoped that the pigs would mistake the signs for full blocks and walk off. On occasion one or two fall, but probably because they end up pushing each other off by accident. I usually go to the trap and push them all off the signs. The fall damage weakens them enough for me to even kill them with my bare fist. If it were perfect, they would fall 21.5 blocks without jumping, so they would be left with 0.5 hearts, enabling a player to kill one in a single hit. In spite of be mob trap's requiring my interaction, it is quite efficient. I would disrecommend use of lava, since they can and do swim.
Actually, you should. I think there have been a few new things. If you have not been to /warp mob2, go there. It is awesome and has a witch spawner to provide constant supplies of redstone, glowstone, bottles, ect. In any case, I think my Hellblock and Skyblock playing will go down by a lot for a while now, because of education. I shall still play, however.
Gathering more gold now... The pigmen spawn much more frequently than I would think possible. I may make trapdoors to replace the signs at a later date, although it works fine now. But GEEZ, Enchanted Golden Apples are expensive! I only have 4 blocks and 5 or so ingots. This will take forever. I am going to find out if these are worth their weight in gold nether stars. If not, cobble or quartz. If all else fails, It shall serve as decoration for my shrine to Kaji the Cookies.

Oh waiiit, wrong server. Sorry, no witches in Hellblock as far as I know. Not sure how getting some things in Hellblock will work. I'm thinking along the lines of it being where you can get some items easier in Hellblock, where in Skyblock they are next to inexistent (and the opposite is also true).
Only thing is that the resident bacon is in large numbers and usually carry player-made armors and weaponry. So any offensive to the top of the tower is likely to end in failure. I have tried many times to reach the top with an iron sword for enchanting... Wouldn't it simply be better to get my own? Hang on, no sugar cane... Well, I have no choice then.
... how many more times do i need to say this... Sugar cane is available at /warp trade from the potion villager
But you can't plant the stuff. I knew it was at the trade warp, but why buy some if water is beyond your reach?
