I've been new to this server for about 2 days now (I'm on .org since for some reason there's lava on my .net island that keeps killing me even after I make a new island), but I've noticed that there's not much information about the commands and features of the server, and the information that is available is kind of all over the place.

I tried looking for some guides and such, but that wasn't really succesful either. so would anyone mind linking me some useful guides, or quickly explain me some of the useful and important commands and features?

You can get a guide book at spawn for one stick c: It has all the basic commands, warps and information on SkyBlock!
Players spawning on islands with lava has been an issue recently. :\

sadly, the FAQ and the guide book both don't mention much helpful. the FAQ is mostly for .net, as alot of warps don't work on .org and the guide only tells me the rules and nothing else. I also don't see a place where I can trade a stick for a basic guide.

First of all, welcome to skyblock :3
You don't really find guides on the server, so I thought I'd make one for you lol

Make sure to read the rules, which can be found at spawn. You can buy a book (it's free) containing the server rules.

    Common Commands on .org
    /newisland create - creates a new island
/newisland replace - resets your island
/coop invite <player> - Invites a player to join your island
    /coop accept - Accepts a coop invite
/coop kick <player> - Kicks a player from your coop
    /setwarp <name> - Creates a warp (players a limited to one warp)
    /delwarp - Deletes a warp
    /ch - Changes the chat channel (/ch 1 = global, /ch 3 = local)
I'm not sure if that's all the command, I'm just listing them at the top of my head.

    Money:
Not like .net, .org is an Economy server. That means players have money (your money can be viewed with /balance, /bal, /money).

You can buy and sell things at /warp adminshop, though the prices are outrageous :p

Another way to earn money is to /auction your things.
Holding the item in your hand, you do:
    /auction <quantity> <price> <price increase> <time>

And of course, you could start your own shop system on your island, as what most of the players do.
Unfortunately you cannot use the iBuy signs that /warp adminshop uses, so you will have to have your own way of shop keeping. (as in, they tell you what they want, you give to them, they pay you :p).

    And lastly, you can try your luck at /warp casino (located at spawn) I've never won anything there ;_;
    More information on this here.

    Protecting Your Items:
Like .net, .org uses lockette to protect your items.
A more detailed explanation can be found here.

    Donating:
As you probably noticed already, there are different ranks on the server.
$10 donor, $25 donor, and Highroller (which is $65)

And well that's pretty much it lol.

Guys if I've missed anything, please tell me
I hope to see you ingame sometime. Happy Skyblocking :3

thanks alot for all that information, that's really helpful.
I do have some questions though, for example the mob spawners. about how expensive are they to buy from other people, and can you break a spawner without losing it? and is the only way to get more dirt(grass) by either buying it in the adminshop or by voting?
and is there a good way of finding out all the warps in .org like is there a good command for it, or a warp where they're all mentioned? because on .net there are some really useful warps that I can't find on .org

Mob spawners are usually around $5000 - $10,000 if you are buying it from someone in-game.
Once you break a placed spawner, it is gone forever. However, if there are any mods online, you may ask to have your spawner picked up. And yes, the only way to get grass blocks is by buying them from adminshop. Voting doesn't work atm, well sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I have no idea what is up with voting.
I don't believe there is a way to find out all the warps in .org (as there are so many warps that players set). But if you are wondering about important warps, I guess they would only be
    /warp adminshop
    /warp spawn
    /warp casino
Right now, there is no pvp arena, or places to trade things like .net does.
I'm sure if you pay attention to chat though, you will see some warps that other players have that would be useful for your case.
I hope this has been useful.

another question, is it possible to mine snow produced by snow golems? I just spend money on buying snowballs so I can make a snowgolem, but I don't seem to be able to dig up the snow

I believe it may be disabled. Even if it snows, it will not produce snow covering on the ground. I think that may conflict with being able to dig up snow. If you are wanting to have snowballs, I guess you will have to continue to buy them from adminshop. Perhaps it is disabled so that it is more challenging to get more snowballs?

another question I want to ask (boy, I sure ask alot of questions don't I? xD ) what's the fastest way to earn money?
right now I'm farming pumpkins and melons the whole time, and turn them into seeds to sell them, but is there a better way to earn money faster?

I don't know of any other ways to earn money faster, other than selling things at adminshop. A lot of the people say that selling melons and pumpkin seeds is a good way to earn money. And I suppose it is.
I've heard of people that have earned around 10-15k by selling melons all day.

well, if you can automate the whole process, it probably is possible to earn that much, but since iron and redstone are not exactly cheap... it'll take you a whole lot of time to reach that point

hey, it's me again, the guy with the many questions :L
I found some warps with public mob spawners, but I noticed that there are no zombie or zombie pigmen spawners... so I was wondering, are those spawners disabled to prevent another way of getting iron/gold?

Lol I am always happy to answer your questions.
And yes, that is correct. Zombie and pigmen spawners are illegal due to the fact that they drop iron and gold.
It's also illegal to create Nether Portals in order to farm pigmen to get gold.

hmm, then are witch spawners also illegal due to witches dropping redstone and glowstone?

I have been playing for a bit now, and I have been searching for info with regard to what is allowed and what is not !
there does not seem to be a definitive rule guide, and everyone seems to have different ideas !
    have I missed something?
I do not want to brake the rules but what exactly are they because I cant find them!!!!

Have you looked at these rules here?
RULES - Rules | Skyblock Forums
Are there any particular rules that you are confused with?
