I logged on to farm potions from witches. but when I was about to use my "god" diamond pickaxe to pick my spawner back up (to prevent greifing) the server started to lag (the kind that pulls you back to where you were) when it stopped lagging there was a normal diamond pickaxe in my hand and my "god" pick was on the ground i went over to see if my spawner the server kicked me. I logged back in to find that my spawner wasn't there

Very simple.
god diamond picks cant pick up spawners. yes they have silktouch but it isnt enabled on spawners. so it wasnt u getting kicked or lag it was purely cause silk touch isnt ENABLED on spawners so regardless of lag you wouldnt have gotten it back.

 

every other time i used it on my spawners they became entities again

 

So u used a god dia pick? ok...when did u last mine a spawner?

 

i last mined a spawner yesterday

Honestly this happens to me, not this same predicament, but with spawners
I use my silk touch pickaxe on spawners, but 3/4 times, 1 of them gets broke, and not turned into an entity.
I don't know if it's server lag not recognizing the plugin for a quick second. but it happens and I get upset xD
this also happens sometimes with me when I break glowstone.
for SOME REASON i get glowstone dust, not the block.
