Not in it's entirety I am sorry to say. Why do YOU think you were banned? Griefing/looting. Was this an incorrect ban? Yes. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? Never before. I was actually considering donating pretty soon. Why do you think you should be unbanned? : I believe I was banned for bridging to another island. This island was empty and only had planks and sticks inside the chests, and it was falling apart. My friends who just joined had told me that /newisland was messing up and creating buggy islands or placing you on pre-existing islands, and I thought this was just an old abandoned island. I really like the community and want to be a part of it, but if the banning moderator sees fit even with this clarification, so be it I will not argue my case any further, and I know it is highly unlikely that I will be unbanned, as griefing/looting is not appealable, as far as I can tell.
Im sorry but this island was not abandoned at all. It was very well developed and included more than just sticks and planks. Also why didn't you read the rules fully then you wouldn't have to get into this type of situation
Well, I am sorry, and I do hope that a rollback, or give back of some sort happens. I in no way meant to grief, and thought that islands were supposed to be much farther away. I know how being griefed feels and wouldn't wish that upon anybody, my coop mates and I had been watching the island for a couple days, and no one had been there (to the best of our knowledge, from the view of our island) and bridging is against the rules, so we did not build out to see until I volunteered to collect whatever resources were there. The ban is justified, but I am just wondering if there is a period of time when I can appeal again or is griefing/looting really a permanent ban with no chance for appeal?
I will consider an unban if you can prove to me you won't do this again and also read the rules, then you wont get into this mess and make the server happier.
Thank you for replying and discussing the possibility of unbanning me. Since being banned I have read the rules extensively and realize that islands are closer than I thought, and thought about how bad it would be if someone bridged to my group's island. Empathy in hindsight is key I think. How do you propose I prove to you I have an interest in making the server happier and a better place? I have had positive dealings in the trust trades I have done, and when I have messed up, I usually assure them I am not scamming, and deliver the aforementioned goods ASAP. I do small drop parties of cobble, farming supplies, grass, and Oak logs/planks occasionally and I like to have fun in the social events around the server. The honour system in place is astounding and I admire that, I truly thought that the island I had looted was abandoned, and meant no ill-will or harm. I wish to be a part of the community again, and the ever changing economy is one of the main things I enjoy, merchanting and getting deals, while cutting a profit all staying inside the rules and regulations. Okay. Make sure this never happens again, you have done what I asked for a looked at the rules Your appeal has been accepted. A Mod may unban you whenever they are on. Once I find a mod who can unban I will archive this.
