I realize that there have been problems with people using silk touch on grass and becoming rich from island harvesting. I believe that giving out sponges when you vote would solve this problem. That way, if people need to move their grass to another place, they can still use silk touch. Also, sponge is decorative, but has no other use, so it would be purely for voting and trading. I hope this idea is considered and I thank you for taking the time to view it.

Dont use sponges.. they are rare and the ppl that have it will be made use logs or something.

 

where would they even get them? unless mods are doing wat they shouldnt, there arent any out there... yet ik there are and there shouldnt be. it would be like punishment for cheating : )

 

Sleepy, do you even know if people are "silk touching" .. Also Donors if I am correct they do get a few free grass blocks in their kits. Also people probably obtained sponges due to a special event? Rare Drop party.. If they did cheat mods would have already caught on.

 

u r clueless... the mods who have donor friends will give them unobtainable items such as mob heads, which ik that yaoi has... using sponges would stop people from becoming rich off of using silk touch on their grass and selling it, but it wouldnt stop it so much that they cant move their grass across their island... and as for the donor kits, those would also be changed to sponges if it is implemented... and btw mods dont host "rare drop parties", only the rich and generous donors, and therefore they only have items that can be obtained legitimately

Btw sleepy you d***ish little noob I have had a silk touch and try'd to dig up my grass blocks at one time. It only gives you a message saying you can not pick this up. So in conclusion this thread is total bull crap.

And by the way go tell noob crew about the shady mod. Also do not call people a noob, show some respect.

 

btw silk touch doesnt work anymore because ppl were getting rich off of it, so noobcrew disabled... i suggested that the villagers and voting are for sponges so that u can still transport grass across your island

 

This just shows how much of a noob you are... silk touch has recently been disabled by noobcrew BECAUSE people were getting rich off of it... this lead to people complaining because their shovels are useless and they cant transport their grass across their islands and have to wait for it to spread... my solution is that the voting and villagers use sponges so that silk touch can be used without any abuse. And im sorry if I offended you by calling you a noob, but please dont use profanity.

 

Still think how much work noobcrew would have to put in to this. Change the votifer code, manually change all the villager trades, fix donor kit. He already does a bunch of work the odds he does his? 1:20
