Someone coop invited me to their island but when i joined i lost all my stuff, including a god diamond pick, stack of cobble, almost a stack of cooked porkchop and some wood. I never got a warning saying that you will lose your inventory when you join another island. I would have lost my home island had my friend not have been there at the time, someone please help or at least explain to me what happened.

 

umm that stuff is pretty much useless

 

That is what happens, it prevents from starter items from being hoarded (buckets, dirt, sand, lava, etc)

 

That's understandable but I wish that it would have given me a warning.

I'm wondering if that's what happened to me 1-1/2 hours ago. I was invited "to join a coop." I figured this was a coop, you know, a place where you buy and sell things. I was surprised that I was now on a new starter island and searched /help for how to get back.

I figured I'd spent about 60 to 70 hours building a super-cool island and if it was taken without warning, then that's pretty bad.

 

I am new to skyblock and mine craft . still trying to learn how to navigate my way around ,
although I have not fell into this trap, I still think there should be more info ,shown for newbies in the game play.
