So, I tried a couple times to make a new island, and when I arrive and try to dig I get a protection warning, saying not allowed to edit the island. Is there something I am not doing?

You did not need to tag people, I was just wondering, as I wanted to get my friend started here, since my main is on .net, that way i could joing them on .org

 

they me now why ^^ since 1 is a dev and other is a global admin anway try to join a coop then leave and make a newisland it worked for me when i was getting that u have no perms thing

 

Max tried that, i join his coop, then he put me on an island and it was protected

 

hmm i dont have a clue try /coop leave than do /newisland

 

or /newisland replace

 

Also tried that a few times, each time, i am not allowed to edit the island.

 

Sounds like it's an issue with automated protection, there might be a quick fix available - I'll look into it soon.
For now, I'll wait till I next speak to Cypriot about giving staff permissions to add people to the protections.
