In my opinion I think that just trading the bucket itself should be legal why is it illegal in the first place because its legal giving someone iron and iron makes the bucket.

You get a free bucket every time you start an island, people could create an island, sell the bucket, and make another island to sell another bucket.

 

But your inventory is cleared every time you make a new island so...... Why is it illegal?

its illegal because of griefers that steal from other island so yes i think it should stick the same

And as for why buckets are illegal - Stated above by others. If you need Lava, buy Obsidian. If you need Water, buy ice. Empty bucket itself, 3 iron. There ya go.
