On a side note I would suggest....

1. Backing up your original minecraft.jar ( this isn't a must but helps instead of forcing update)
2. Using nodus on single player if you are not familiar with the controls e.c.t until your happy (because you can easily ruin your whole island very fast if you don't know what your doing)
3. Learn all the shortcut keys so you don't accidentally activate something you shouldn't or by mistake

Yes true my friend but generally a beginner to nodus normaly doesn't until they are use to everything.

I've removed the links to Nodus on this thread. I really think it's a bad idea to encourage people to use this mod. First of all, you don't know what the author put in there - I wouldn't trust the thing with my account details. Secondly, it contains features such as flying which is banned on this server. Some being acceptable on your own island, maybe. Just if you get it, don't abuse it.
I'd rather protect our user's accounts than promote this thing.

No, have you? - Guess not. But if we're going by that all your work is a virus and we should avoid it. Ooh that's not nice now is it. Imagine how the maker of Nodus feels.

 

You do realize Scetch thinks the program is a monster and has become one of the worst things that has ever happened to Minecraft? I hope so.
And I have decompiled it myself. It is also distributing Minecraft, which is against Mojang's Terms and Conditions.

 

Flying with Nodus can't be done because it auto bans you after 5 seconds.

 

You read the announcement.. Congrats, he said that because of how many people use it. With something like 5k people in the IRC at one time and Mojang did nothing about it.

 

Zambiana, in his opinion it's a risk. You have opinions and state them often. When someone has an opinion or thought different than your own you often attack them for perceived ignorance. I don't want this to cause an issue with us, but you need to chill that out a bit. I really don't want to see anything else negative come between you and our moderation and administrative staff.
