My charecter name is Afatsack. Ok. So, I started out all happy, starting an island. I didn't know what to do, so I just did things. I kept on doing random stuff, building house, making farms and other things. Then I decided something that I thought would be really cool: A giant melon house. So, I used most of the stack and a half of dirt you get from mining out the dirt on your island to grow melons. Even with this, it was a slow, boring process. Then I had an idea: Why don't I bridge to islands, and take the dirt from theirs? I decided to make sure that the place was abandoned. So, what I would do is chest the chests to see if there was anything in it. If it was missing, then I would take the dirt. Because, just like everyone else, I hate being griefed. And I hate doing things that I hate getting done to myself. So, I bridged to 4 different islands, all of which had empty chests. I took the dirt, of course, as had been my plan. (Through out all of this, it didn't cross my mind to check the rules to see if this was illegal, otherwhise I wouldn't have done it.) After getting what I thought would be enough dirt, I made my large melon plantation, and worked on my house. A little while later, a friend of mine called Saints_4 visited my island. He told me it was against the rules to grief, so I was like Oh s***! Why? Because Skyblock had became my favorite game, and I had been playing it alot, and I didn't want to get banned. But that happened.
The lesson to learn from this: Read the rules, make sure what you're doing is ok and good. And then, even if you aren't sure, ask a mod. I might not be released from ban exileship, so learn from my example.

 

If you haven't already, make a ban appeal for it. You seem like you legitimately did not know, so I think you'd have a good chance -- though my opinion won't matter

 

I did. I am VERY new to this server and everything like this. So I made this one first, and then found out about the ban-appeal thing. It's there, now.

 

In case anyone was wonder, I have been unbanned on the same day that I posted this. (Or at least, found out about being unbanned.)
