Since the chances of ores generating from a generator is low, there should be an island upgrade you can craft and place that will increase the chances of a ore generating when using a cobblestone generator.
I do support this as I think it would be a great addition to the server. An issue I have is, the fact that it would be an item people have to craft to upgrade it. There is no mechanic like this that is already on the server. I feel like people should have to buy the upgrades in some sort of menu. On top of that, I feel like the upgrades should apply to all cobblestone/stone generators just in case people want to relocate them. My last issue is, people should be able to downgrade their generators temporarily when they want to mine only cobblestone and stone. There should be a menu to select what generator level you want to use. With that being said, I really like the idea and feel like it would fit on the server. A lot of new players also ask how to upgrade their generators and get disappointed when they get told that they can't. I also don't like the idea of having to AFK mine for hours just to get a decent amount of ores. Anyways, that's just my opinion .
Tbh, I don't mind it either way on this. On the other hand, other servers have upgradable gens, and you can get a huge amount of ores once upgraded to the max. Would be good to see a little upgrade but not massive on this server tho On the other hand, they already removed ore gens with the moss farming so I'm not sure if they would want to make it easier to farm ores here, Plus it might hurt the economy, as I know on survival it hurt the economy a little when ore gens with moss farms were a thing.
i could see how it would be nice especially in your skyblock infancy, but I could also see it having an adverse effect on the economy. imo a small bump would be nice but much more than that and youre just "printing money"
Iron I think the iron influx currently is heavily driven by vote keys in my case, i get lots of iron but not all that much iron ore. Economy would adapt, however, it would also encourage ridiculous stone generator designs that would lag server awfuly.
