Pretty self-explanatory title, but I just (accidentally) figured out that moss spread to dirt and grass blocks upon being bonemealed.

This mechanism seems a little odd to me considering the other mechanisms around dirt blocks. Most prominently, there is /lnf to recover voided dirt, along with rules about trading dirt/etc.

In my case, I accidentally bonemealed a moss block that was next to a patch of dirt. I only lost a few dirt/grass but I wanted to come and suggest that this mechanism be disabled.

    Thanks!

i have seen this a few times on a few skytitans islands and just today i was helping someone new to the server and they bonemealed moss and it spread there dirt too

it would be nice if moss spread was turned off for dirt and grass as it has been turned on for most ores so i know it can be done

    I support this suggestion.
Having myself lost many grass/dirt blocks by accidentally bonemealing too close to these blocks and moss in the past, especially since my island is mostly terraformed areas :(
Emusic already mentioned that there is /lnf and that you cant drop/trade dirt; sbutils mod has a grass anti-placing options and there other ways to allow or deny grass/dirt mechanics such as not allowing the spawning of rooted dirt when bonemealing azaleas or the spawning of podzol when growing giant spruce.

I think setting the #minecraft:moss_replacable to false for grass_blocks will fix this issue (I could be wrong tho :p)
