This happens to me too occasionally, where one block specifically will not break but ones around it will. I figured out it was because I was standing too close to it. Definitely a glitch, but if you back up it will fix itself (at least in my case).
idk if it's related, but when I break blocks while flying this kind of stuff happens too, and it's not related to tps I'm pretty sure
You're right, this can also be recreated while flying too. As you can see from the video, however, I was standing on the ground the whole time. I have no idea what this is caused by, but it is making any task that requires mining any amount of blocks unbearable.
This issue has been around for a long time. I would often have to "/enchant efficiency 2" just to be able to break blocks.
In the video, I both remove all enchantments from my axe, and also remove Haste 2, and yet the issue persisted. While I believe that this issue has been around for any amount of time, I had not encountered it except for a few times during lag spikes. Now this issue is persistent for me after re logging and at different times of day.
Yep I noticed that. To be honest I really didn't do much farming of wood. I always had trouble breaking pistons though which have a similar break time. As per your original post, I also think it's caused by anti nuker.
