• I try to log into skyblock every day at least for 30 minutes to an hour at the very least. I usually average close to 3-5 hours when I have nothing else going on outside of work and other activities!

When did you first join Skyblock?

• I first joined Skyblock a little over 7 years ago under a different account known as Skyville. Lost the account due to it being under a school email so joined with my new account almost 3 years ago.

Have you ever been banned on any platform?

• I have never been banned!

Do you have any past moderation experience?

• I have moderated on a discord server as well as moderate my own twitch stream/discord. I also helped moderate a very small minecraft server way back in the day!

Why do you think you should become a staff member?

• I a very friendly person and try to always help out the newcomers to the server. I've played skybock off and on over the 7 years of playing but it has created many good memories that I'd like to pay it forward to the next generation of players!

Do you meet the requirements for staff?

• I believe I do! I'm not as active on the forums but definitely check in and read some posts every now and again!

Wowo finally another application to keep Mickey company ! Hi Sym! I've seen you around a bit but I don't know enough about you to support you as staff. Would you introduce yourself a bit so people reading this can get to know you a bit more? For example, what are your fondest Skyblock memories? What are the top 3 things you would like to see change on this server (if any)? And more importantly, how do you see yourself resolving heated conflicts on the server?

 

For Sure! Yes, I do typically stay pretty quiet when I'm playing but that's because I'm either building something or helping others build something!

As far as some of my fondest memories, I have so many stories! I remember when I first started playing, it was my best friend and I that started a coop together. We still have the island on classic! I remember building a mob grinder to try and get bone meal to be a wood shop for other players haha! Another great memory I have is when I renamed my other account from symnard to skyville to promote my city and shops "Skyville". My neighbor who goes by Harvey, let me work with him to create a jointed island haha. Just recently got access back to that island as well!. Many more stories where that came from along with I remember my grass hustle being skin competitions back in the day xD

Some things I'd like to see change on the server would be some things like possibly creating new ways to earn grass for newer players. There are always dp's and competitions but I remember when it felt great to create a shop that players would come to your island to visit for! I think it'd be cool to also host more events which could also tie into that! I know we do events on holidays but Emy recently did a scavenger hunt which was really cool! Maybe if we communicated with some of the top leaderboard islands and did events such as that, that could be fun! Plus it would strengthen the community as well as involve newcomers!

As I typically learn to being a leader in many aspects of my life, I have noticed that I have had to deal with many variations of conflicts. I personally think that dealing with heated conflicts is best done privately between both parties separately then come up with a conclusion/resolution from there! Everyone has a right to an opinion but sometimes things said over text can be misunderstood and taken out of context.

 

Great questions! I naturally gravitate towards helping others on the server as well as in life. I have created many great memories with many players from over the years and would just like to give others the same experiences/opportunities as I had! I believe I would be a great asset to help people with questions, issues, and other areas that may need attention as well.

Some of my favorite skyblock activities currently are going to other players islands and seeing all the great builds players have made over the years! It's crazy what we can do with our islands from it being a regular skyblock to some of the craziest builds even in regular MC haha. I also love trying to create relationships with newcomers by giving them some beginner tips/tools to help their experience! Free enchanted diamond pickaxes for all!

 

Have to say no support for now. Never really seen you in-game (although I haven't been the most active lately) and I've never seen you here on forums. You seem like a chill person but I just don't know you enough to justify a support
