    Hello Shawn,

Due to the complexity of your query, it is best to approach the question in three different ways. The first few are relatively simple, but the more outlandish ones require a bit more mental labor.

The 16-react lineup has been a key tenet of Skyblock forums since the very beginning. They represent a player's ability to broadcast their sentiments to the world without the use of words; for the less verbose players, they grant the ability to passive-aggressively egg others without explanation. We'll start from the left.

The first two are relatively simple: the thumbsie uppie and the nomegusta. Historians believe these gestures date as far back as 264 BC, the advent of gladiatorial combat for public entertainment in the Roman Empire. Although these trials of skill and strength are widely believed to be bloody, unruly brawls in the sand, they were actually closer to the regulated boxing matches of today, in which the victors are decided by a methodical judging process. In the case of Rome, however, the judge was sometimes the Roman emperor himself. As seen in the historical documentary "Gladiator", starring Russell Crowe, the emperor would decide the fate of the loser by reacting "Like", which would trigger thunderous applause for both brave warriors, or "Dislike", in which case the victor was obligated by ancient tradition to shout "Are you not entertained?" at the audience and then challenge the emperor to a PvP match one on one.

The second set of reactions are the check and the ex. Coincidentally, the check mark is also believed to have been borrowed from the Romans. The letter V heads the Roman word 'Veritas', meaning truth. It is assumed by most scholars that this was abbreviated to the simple letter V on many Roman legal documents as a mark of affirmation, and finally ended up as the unevenly drawn check mark that it is today due to it being copied down millions of times by progressively sloppier writers. The X mark, on the other hand, is red and carries generally negative connotations. This negative meaning is believed to have been derived from the fact that the X is red, which is the color of Sith lightsabers. As the Sith are generally evil, a red mark possessing not one but TWO bad guy laser swords is clearly a no-no mark.

The haha react is a bit harder to understand. It features a person's face with an abnormally large grin whose teeth have fused together into one big plate of bone. Although the gaps demarcating the presence of teeth are no longer present, it is still possible to recognize that the person is happy by looking at the subtly crinkled corners of the eyes, which signify happiness and mirth. This, combined with the hovering word "Funny" above the emoji, suggest that this is a symbol meant to convey the user's laughter.

The star medallion has long been a reward given out to the choicest athletes, soldiers, students, scientists, and nerds in the chess club to acknowledge their achievements. Those who carry the golden star of victory carry with them society's hopes and dreams, and are eternally recognized as having contributed significantly to the betterment of the human race. Everybody loves a winner, and by choosing to issue a gold star to someone's post, you have elected to gift them the undying adoration of the entire Skyblock community for all eternity. Warning: This should not be given out casually, as it will cheapen the value of all the other wielders of the gold star that came before.

The magic hat stick reaction is one of the most complex of all these reactions. For decades, the magician's hat has been an object of wonderment and mystery, for all know of the occult powers of the magicians. Their most anticipated ability is the ability to vigorously fist their hats with their entire arms up to their elbow, wave the wand of unimaginable power, utter the phrase "Abra Cadabra", and pull an entire bunny out of thin hat. This bunny-conjuring ability is the source of the magic hat stick reaction's complexity: many wrongly assume this reaction signifies awe and shock, when in reality it is a sad reminder that there is very little magic left in the world. Legend has it that one may catch a fleeting glimpse of what magic remains by meditating quietly for exactly 69 seconds and then vigorously inhaling from a container of concentrated Elmer's glue.

The informative reaction is self explanatory. It is used to convey the issuer's appreciation that a post containing only facts and helpful advice has been made and uploaded to the forums. You may use this on posts in the "Help" and "Discussions" sections of forums that teach people how to play. You may also use this reaction on this post, as it also contains only facts and helpful advice.

The secret to the other reactions have been lost to the ravages of time, but new research has managed to uncover the meaning behind the cookie. Long shrouded in ambiguity, the question "like what does cookie even mean?" is best approached with a multi-faceted analysis.

First, we must consider the original objective of a cookie. What are cookies for? Sweet delectable nuggets of dough and bits of what should be assumed to be chocolate chips(there is a small possibility that they are raisins, but that is a federal crime punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and 3 years in prison). The prevailing theory amongst historians is that the first cookie was made as a symbol of friendship and prosperity. Let us also consider the technological advancements which cavepeople had to make in order to perfect the art of baking, as well as the sacrifice of all the brown cows which were needed to provide the chocolate chips for the cookie's final touches. Some say that the cookie represents humankind's millenias-long odyssey of baking, which began with the first caveperson cookie and ended when the Girl Scouts of America perfected the art of cookie-making.

Finally, consider the theory that cookies are an abstract concept, and that the cookie react is food; not for the body, but for the soul.

I hope this clears up any confusion.

The heart is a cookie ingredient because all the love goes out of the heart and into the cookie when you bake it
