Your right, some staff members arent active on eco, but they were at one point hence why they are staff. Might be a good idea to be active when your applying for staff.
I'd agree with this, I'm not saying Emy SHOULDN'T care about /seen I'm saying they said that they said DON'T care about /seen, so I was saying chickenstrip was adding anything to the thread, because it's been brought up multiple times and doesn't seem to be something Emy wants to address, because as they said they don't have motivation
Players are still allowed to leave feedback even if it’s been brought up multiple times in the thread. You shouldn’t discourage feedback.
I wasn't defending their lack of motivation, was just saying that it's the reason they cited for not being active on eco, in fact, i agree that citing lack of motivation as a reason for not playing isn't the best look for someone applying to be a sb mod I understand but chickenstrip in particular has been a bit rude imo on this thread, just my thoughts tho so whatever
How is me calling out valid reasons why someone shouldn’t be a staff member and providing proof of inactivity rude? I find it funny that emys only constant defender is someone who just got banned for breaking multiple rules
multiple? it was one alleged offense and this has nothing to do with this Rude was the wrong word, certain messages were a bit childish, although they seemed to be attempts at humor. (If you'd like examples I could tell you in private) I was not saying that providing proof of inactivity was bad feedback, I was trying to say that I believe you will receive the same response, being that Emy doesn't care, I was not trying to say I personally disagree with your feedback, I just didn't think anything productive would come of it. As for the 'constant defender' I'll admit I have defended a lot, and am personally starting to lean more toward neutral (at the time /seen was ~1 hour so I thought Emy was going to be more active)
Well at the time (a while ago) a checked /seen and it was ~1 hour, so I believed Emy in that they would be more active on eco. Now, after seeing your evidence, I realized this isn't the case and Emy really just joined because you mentioned it, and doesn't care to improve the main issue of their staff app. They have said they were working on it and then not followed up on that in their actions, I didn't realize this at the time.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, time and time again Emy has seen the messages and proof of her inactivity and has joined economy for 45 seconds just for her /seen to be updated. This isn’t acceptable and it is tricking players into believing that she is active. She very obviously doesn’t care about this as it is clear that she is reading these messages and not replying to them.
The only thing is I do have to say that Emy is not reading these messages, unless your talking about the previous ones from weeks ago that she said she would work on and didn't follow up on as they were last seen at 6:06 PM yesterday

I’m continuing my support. I don’t know you too well but I see you on the server a lot and you always bring a positive vibe. I just wanna say how I hate that you now have to be active on both survival and economy if you want to be staff. Why should you have to be active on a completely different server that you may not like? There’s a world of difference between the two servers and it’s unfair that if you want to volunteer and help out on one you have to play on the other too. It’s a bit ridiculous that people are going THIS far in regards to your activity on economy. But I sort of get it, WE NEED ECONOMY STAFF.
ima be honest I don’t see why people still care so much about activity on all the different platforms bro. As long as you show dedication to one it’s not very hard to adjust to the other. It's all one big network. The community is almost all the same, the rules are basically the same thing, etc. You can be a Skyblock staff and do the same job on economy lol. The commands to punish players doesn't change. If a staff member is active on Skyblock someone who needs immediate attention on economy will find them. Activity anywhere is good enough especially since most staff members who get accepted end up all doing the same thing anyways, I would agree with this "must be active everywhere" if it weren't for that fact.
i think the problem lies that emy says they will play the other, then logs on and doesnt join again for a month, its deceptive and not a quality you want to see in a staff aplicant
Well I don't think they'd be doing that if people weren't buggin about the economy activity. But yeah I see where you are coming from about the quality aspect.
I think knowledge in all platforms community and functions is very important. Economy, Skyblock, and Discord all have 3 different communities with 3 different main functions/exclusive features, and I think it’s important to make sure you’re known and in all. No one is asking for a complete switch to economy, no one is asking for her to play 2-3 hours a day. I think an hour or two a week would be fine to get knowledge and known. The inactivity is a valid concern because as someone who has been very involved in both servers, there are differences in both that are importantly to learn, that can be learned with just an hour or two a week of playtime
