Custom mapart is a huge market on the server, itd be amazing if we could disable others from making their own copies. You all may know of another way to "copyright" custom mapart and banners but I recently came across MilkyPixelart - Minecraft Plugin, a 1.19.4 / 1.20.4 plugin that allows owners to copyright their art, apparently you can even charge them a fee to do so. Id love to see something of this nature implemented, just a suggestion though, thanks for hearing me out.

 

I don't know about the fee because we are already running low on grass

 

This has been suggested many times before for maparts. So I support the idea of being able to prevent locked maparts from being copied

 

I've had people go as far as actually renting a mapart island and make my maparts out of spite before so i really dont see the need


if people want to do something they will do it

 

Given the server runs neither of those versions, this would probably be a better option.

 

Support generally, I make the largest map arts on eco and I really don't want them copied and re-sold.
