I would like to propose the integration of an Armor Stand Editor plugin to our server. This plugin would offer a range of functionalities that could significantly enhance our building and decorating experience.

Features:

1. Customizable Armor Stands: With this plugin, we can modify Armor Stands to add arms or entirely alter their stance, allowing for more dynamic and expressive poses.
2. Enhanced Decoration: By introducing customizable Armor Stands, we can elevate our decoration game to a whole new level. Think about the possibilities for immersive scenes, role-play settings, or simply adding flair to our builds.

No support. Personally not a big fan of more entities being added.

If this wouldnt cause much lag (for eco) then I would ofc support. Im just not knowledgeable enough to make that call.

 

I have suggested this at least twice if not more before. This also ties in with invisible itemframes and tripwire hook tool holders.

I think all would be wonderful to introduce more creativity. Easy support.

I have literally 500 armour stands placed around my island and they don't affect much at all. Highly doubt it would cause much more lag compared to farms and redstone etc

Sure. Maybe Vanilla Tweaks armor stands? I think that makes it more like Bedrock edition's armor stands, which have way more going on for them.

Well, that someone will probably find a way to do that anyways.

 

Zombiecleo does such fantastic armour stand decorations. And statues, it's really so cool!. Shame we can't use them to display our rares, or make custom player statues for our islands

Check out the way zombiecleo decorates using armourstands, then come back to me it's not just simply, push a block into a stand to make it seem like drop heads are on the block, it's way more than that.

You can change sizes of the items fixed to a stand, you have options to use the hands also left and right with 3 potential items per stand, you can fully udjust every part of the stand to. For decoration, it helps you combine a few stands together to make a model out of random ingame items, there's no limits for creativity.

Compare all that to only being able to fit armour and a player head to a non adjustable stand, you'll see how much cooler it would be. The stands are edited using a book and quit with a specific name that changes it to a editing book, or in game commands depending on the type of resource pack chosen. Vanilatweaks offer a really good one

I know what you mean, I've been watching hermitcraft on and off since before their book was first added.
But heads you can display perfectly fine already, which amount for the majority of rares that might be meaningful to display in a stand. How do you know that a stone in an armourstand's hand is a Special Stone, whereas in an item frame you can see the name.
It would be very cool to have, but not necessary in my opinion.

 

Yeah, the suggestion isn't necessarily just for drophead rares. The video I linked shows how you can use everyday minecraft objects like blocks and walls etc to make models and statues for island decoration
