What's your thoughts on this?

Does this lower the value of the head due to more abundance?
Is this considered lazy?
Is it unique?
Would you collect the same head but different colors?
How would you personally display your collection as the name/title colors are the same for both heads?

I honestly don't know what to think, maybe its actually nice and cool.
Personally I am not sure I like it at all as it seems cheap and not unique to copy lore. However, if its the way it must be then I cant say much.
would be pretty neat to hear thoughts idk.

 

There were discussions about the topic, if too many new hunt/event heads are released. It arguably makes it harder to keep shops and collections updated, and decreases the appeal to start a head collection in the first place. And now this. I genuienly don't understand it.

 

We normally get a hunt head + an advent gift on x-mas yearly, so they haven’t really introduced anything abnormal with the amount of heads being distributed (edit: they released a gift head bc i said this xD)

The votes are the votes, the hunt head is the #1 top voted head every time pretty much. The advent gift head is usually just grabbed straight from mc-heads database so both ways are pretty much very lazy.

Arguably more unique than a head made by someone random, as this one is made by a community member

No, i’d hunt down every single head variation and burn them all in lava so mine is the only real one (THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE).

I’d put them next to each other in a tradeshop where you can view the different lores (is this a trick question?)

 

Well we are gonna have three different versions of the hunt head, plus the /gift one.

 

Has anyone confirmed there will be a gift head this crimmis tho? I just kinda assumed this was a replacement for that

Tbh I just did /gift to see if there was anything there, but it looks like it's now been added to the auto message on joining

 

I personally think they released three different hunt heads during three different days as people were complaining about how quick and easy the hunt was.

to be fair the hunt was buns it takes like 10-15 minutes to complete
guess we getting lazy with it this year

 

The halloween hunt was the best hunt we've ever had

 

I think the triple head idea was awesome and gave people a reason to revisit after completing it instead of a one-and-done situation (like fr how many of you actually go back to the warps?) maybe waiting until the start of 2025 to start doing that would've been better so all of a year is the same?

I do think this one was braindead easy though, I just ran around and checked every room each day took about 10 minutes and I was out, was definitely less enjoyable to the Halloween hunt and I feel the difficulty of that hunt was good just maybe more obvious about the markers that were used (I found out way too late from a builder about the purple lights in office)

Side Note: Did we get coal cause we were bad this year? cause oof I was sad

 

I love the backrooms aspect and have completed multiple backrooms games, that being said the Halloween event was probably one of my favorites, however some parts weren't that great. It wasn't easy which was good, but I don't like spending more then wanted time doing the hunt lol.
The idea of extending the hunt for multiple days is nice, but with the same head just different lore I thought wasn't that great.
It would be cool to have 3 different heads that were voted on, 1 new head each day, in a 3 day period exactly like this Christmas event.
Either way you look at it, its nice.

The best events are the ones I win.

 

So basically to summarize:
- No matter what skyblock does, they lose and people still complain.

Y’all got 3 more heads than we normally get, and still find a way to be upset about it. “We should have got 3 unique hunt heads along with a gift head” is basically just saying “We should double the amount of heads dropped in DPs”. We. Do. Not. Need. So. Many. Heads. All it does is just make the existing rares we get less valuable and less meaningful. Not to mention the fact that it makes collecting rares an absolute nightmare, with like 10 unique variants of heads per season.

That's not right, I've made the reasons I complained for clear, and it was a topic before. Nobody would've complained if they had just dropped a hunt head + a gift head like always. This thread would'nt even exist.
