Skyblock Wiki: Contributors Wanted!

    Hello everyone,

    We will be starting up our own public wiki for Skyblock and we are looking for contributors!

    The Skyblock Wiki will serve as an ultimate resource for the original singleplayer maps and the official multiplayer servers, offering comprehensive guides and in-depth information on our unique game features.

    Currently, much of the information about our maps and servers is scattered across numerous forum posts (or other websites in regards to the maps), requiring users to search or be directed to specific threads. The wiki will serve as a centralized hub, where players can easily access accurate and up-to-date information, like custom recipes or innovative cobblestone generators, without needing to comb through the forums to find the right post.

    The wiki is a community-driven project and will eventually be open for editing by all players with a valid forums account. For now, however, we're starting with an application process for those who are well-versed in the maps and/or servers and would like to get involved at the start.

    Criteria:
    1. Please ensure your Skyblock Forums account is linked to your Minecraft account. To do this, simply type "/forums link" while in-game.
    2. Make sure to be a part of our Discord server to gain access to the wiki channel if accepted.

    Note:
    - The platform we will be using is called MediaWiki and operates similar to WikiPedia.
    - Ideas and suggestions about the wiki are still welcomed on this thread if you don't want to contribute.

    This is huge, and a step in the right direction. Skyblock could really use a wiki.
    There is a lot experienced players have still yet to learn, especially the differences of both servers.
    But most importantly, this is MASSIVE for any new player who is actually wanting to get real data.

    - All the Collectable/Rare information, listed and able to be searched up, with information, dates and average prices, old craft's.
    - Economy details, farm data, costs, TPS specific data, everything, all in one place. Lots of numbers potentially.
    - Map Art creation for new players, this could be the go-to place to learn. I have taught a handful of players how to start creating map arts, and some have earned thousands of grass doing so. I am excited for the potential.
    - Maybe eventually be able to search up Player Names/Usernames, old or new. Player information, join date, time spent on server, levels, use a plugin like /pi and implement it into the wiki. Maybe island information/shops, and pictures of islands one day (if added by another user).
    - Able to search every single item, what its used for, how to make, special crafts, etc.
    - All different types of farms that work on the server, and produce items you can sell, and build tutorials linked.
    - So much more opportunities, and data. B)


    Specific updates could change the wiki a lot as well. (If we get updates *cough* even a few small updates/fixes)

    I want someone to write a whole freaking page on current Skyblock supermod, highly regarded as the best addition to the team, perhaps the most cunning AND charming man alive... Skyblock Luka. (jk luka is kinda mid need the BossOfAll98 lore)
