I have played on this server since early 2021. I made some immediate and steadfast friends, shoutout silviaprincess and odiewonkenobi. The former of these two helped me get started from green to god, and the latter helped with my journey from no business to running one of the largest and most innovative casino islands on the server (that's why he gets thedive). That original casino island which also hosts my starter area can be visited at jasonmcbateman, it boasts the first ever floating casino, first lottery casino, and the first coinflip. Since that island took off with redstone from pre 1.19.2; when the update was released that island was retired, which also kickstarted my retirement. My main goal for this game was to collect every non-DP collectable that was available. This was a very lofty goal as some of the items I was after were already 2-3 years old. I finally accomplished this feat about two months before the update was released. I was and still am one of the only players to ever have had a full set of rares DP or non. I don't see anyone else ever being able to accomplish this goal without some sort of undue influence as some of the items are less than 1/5. When you visit thedive you immediately are thrown back with the immensity, odie and I had a vision to make a cruise ship filled with games, we may have let that goal go a bit but thanks to odie especially the ship did come to fruition! Thedive became the new home of the new coinflip and also started being the home of the poker games that will be talked about next. I also started in March of 2023 poker with skyblock grass with beensmc. This took off in popularity with how boring the game had gotten! Games are still held today on multiple servers by multiple people, with the original group still playing on discord (contact grep if you wanna play). I have made good friends on this game some of whom I still talk to daily, the following are a list of people I had a great experience with, don't feel bad if I have forgotten some. My last day will be my anniversary date and possibly the DP for the heck of it. I had fun, for the majority of my run, the minority showed me enough though that it was time to get myself to a better place, for mental reasons and just to progress in life. I feel bad for the next generation having to grow up with these new 'rules and guidelines' that society believes we should adhere to. Good luck to all of you under 25. I mean it with my whole heart.

I just want to say a massive thank you to the support and love shown from some of you on this post (some of you may be getting a DM)! It warms my heart honestly that the community is alive enough to bother, and give me hope for the future of the platform. I shan't change my mind over it though, I still plan to leave by the end of the year! Thank you again to everyone, especially my real friends I did make, some times in my life in the past 4 years have been awfully taxing personally and those late night VCs BSing with ya'll really did give me peace of mind some nights from the hardships I was going through.
