#1. I would like to have the plugin #hand that shows the item you are holding in chat. That makes selling and showcasing stuff much easier. Also includes a little add to the server. #2. /job so u can earn grass or other stuff. Like from digging, fishing or killing mobs. Just so stuff happends and more stuff to do on the server #3.And we need badly more restarts on the server sadly. its pretty laggy and my suggestion is 1 restart each 6th hour. #hand is the thing i like the most and it takes legit 5 min to add to the server.
HOW TO IMPROVE SUGGESTIONS BEING REVIEWED Keep each suggestion thread to one specific idea so that discussion within the thread is always on topic and suggesting multiple things in one thread are more difficult to close
All great suggestions, 1) /hand would be cool when doing item trades and advertisements so sure. I support this. 2) /jobs were going to be a thing, but noobcrew decided he didn't like the idea of it. You're allowed to advertise jobs in chat, and through island /ads also you have daily /quests which change and give you 6 mini jobs to complete for questions rewards which can be redeemed for items in game. 3) server restarts, tps is a big issue for the server, and has always been. There have been recently t attempts at making it smoother, and occasionally this will require multiple restarts, or at least a couple around usual time. Having more frequent restarts would kick a lot of players afk off server and eould lead to more complications than its worth. Whilst sky is correct at pointing this out, the headline suggests it as a way to Improve how future suggestions are submitted. These are prefered guidlines, but not set in stone.. You can post multiple in one thread, however the additional suggestions do tend to get overlooked then which can take a post off track Good suggestions, keep them up. /hand is a cool idea. Better than /invsee for privacy whilst having security over trades
Any kind of suggestion tends to be overlooked at this point ;c I do not think this is necessary at all, even tho everything is nerfed to the ground there's still plenty to do. If you want a way of getting grass, I'd think adding daily quests from economy to skyblock would be a better way to incentivize playing. Skyblock has been laggy for some time now(mostly on peak hours), but I don't think reboots are gonna fix anything. I'm not agaisnt it tho
i do support the hand suggestion ive seen servers implement a [item] function in the chat that show the item when you hover over its name in the message and would be nice to see it in skyblock
All suggestions should be improvements, no? I like some of the suggestions, but not all, which is why it should be split into multiple threads. Makes it easy to focus on one topic when discussing the suggestion.
I like the hand suggestion. As SkyCloud said above, I've been in a server with the plugin where you just type [item], and it shows what you're holding in chat. If this were implemented, I think a cooldown might need to be introduced as a precautionary measure. Perhaps 2 minutes?
Support for the /show / [item] thing Maybe make it so that it can be changed to only be seen in local chat or global chat?
The only issue I see with [item] is it could be used to bypass the chat filter (unless it only shows the original item name), other than that 100% support
Support for the [item] or #hand idea, agree with other's implementations are delays, agree with seperating ideas into their own posts, do not agree with /job as currently suggested, neutral on more resets.
changing my support on the [item] part to only be implemented if they include some filtering to item naming as well to enforce the chat filter
Thanks FatalDisaster for mentioning the filter evasion implication. I'm sure this has been an issue with other servers and without looking into the possible plugins I can almost guarantee that they have safeguards against this.
I have added /itemdb to all users on Skyblock Survival which is similar to the feature you have suggested. While holding an item in your hand and running this command, it will tell you the exact name of the item.
