    Hello!

I haven’t played Minecraft in a long time. I started to miss the game and came back recently. I logged into economy and I’m not happy with my past self in terms of how I built my island. I want a blank canvas and don’t want to break everything. I have questions about a few things and need some help.

    1) if I do /ni replace will I keep the island expansion that I have? I heard if the coordinates are the same it stays. I would like to keep my island expansion. Can I?

    2) I want to avoid any chance of getting accused / banned for island farming. Can I keep my valuables that I have accumulated over the last 4+ years by storing it on a friends account/island?

    3) last question Can I throw the dirt gained from the new starter island into the void and be safe from punishment?

I haven’t decided if I want to do this yet for sure but I would like clarification of if this is an option. I read the rules and seems like I can do most of these things but I’d like help! Thanks

    1. /ni replace I believe allows you to keep your island coordinates since you're basically just wiping your old island and spawning a default new one in its place.

    2. Yes, I believe you are allowed to store your old items before resetting; many people do this by storing their mega-valuables in their enderchest

    3. You don't need to throw the new dirt away. Especially since it has been a long time since you have last played, I'm sure that almost nobody(no staff at least) would begrudge you a few dirt to start off with. Even the sale/transfer of island between players allow for a certain amount of dirt to be left there(I think the number is 77 since that's how much you start off with).

    Welcome back!

    1) no.
    2) and 3) I’d get staff to confirm that.

I think you should ask staff just in case.

    Hello!

1.) I believe that your expansion is bound to your island, not your account. That being said when you reset your island the co-ords remain the same, so I think the expansion is kept. If another staff member could confirm, thanks!

2.) You can definitely keep all your valuables yep

3.) I'd say you don't need to throw away your new dirt, no. You're not purposefully island farming and you using this dirt wouldn't flag up to us in logs as strange activity, so you don't need to worry about it!

I can confirm that expansions are island bound also. Running the command /ni replace simply resets the island at the same coordinates. The expansion will remain.
