I'm making mapart but my island isn't centred completely so with my expansion kit, I ended up with a row 5 blocks wide that doesn't cover the map and I can't build past it because of the 199x199 limit. Does anyone think it's possible to get that some way? Just so I can be able to completely cover the map? Maybe if I ask super duper nicely, but it's really bugging me and I don't want to sell mapart to people with a big grey strip down the side of every map. It is probably not physically possible to change or because of rules but I'm just on here to at least try ;-;
As AJ mentioned, it’s sadly not possible. You can however see if your neighbouring island has a max expansion and will allow you to be on their trust list with permission to build in that 5 block space!
Several options/solutions were given in the other thread you posted titled ‘Island Expansion Limit’ It appears that that thread was deleted for some reason.
In my last thread i was sadly wrong about the expansion pack so i deleted it to avoid further confusion but thats all good!

No worries. The options I presented there are still valid. It isn't too hard to determine when map art islands are generating.
