I’ll have you corrected when you say I sold these, no, these are another artists work. I stepped in as the owner of the island since no one came to me with a complaint. And I’ll reiterate that multiple staff have seen these maps and not whispered a peep.
Leo, you host the shops and display the art on your island, as far as the rules go, it doesn’t matter who sold them. And your mentioning that multiple staff have seen them and not said anything only raises more questions. It shouldn’t need a report for staff to act, if they are already aware of the rule breaking.
I’m only here to defend my actions. I was not made aware of any complaints and when I saw this I removed the maps. It’s very simple, what happens next about what dearrs wants to pursue about this will be handled by staff and staff alone.
I always thought it was weird that Craftsauce came to the server and afk'd at Spawn for 6 months of their 1 year of played time and is now memorialized at spawn with their head on a log. But... when you visit their island.... anime boobs everywhere. I get it was cute/funny how they afk'd in that same spot but is that someone we want to "pay tribute" to at spawn? Someone asks? "who's that?", they find out who it is and visit their island and now this NEW player attributes this memorialized player and that island as part of the experience. Meanwhile.... I suggested, thru the proper channels, renaming a llama, that rarely appears, after a well known, deceased, ex play and was swiftly denied. So then how did Craftsauce get an honorary home at spawn around the fire? lol. Nothing makes sense here anymore and some bad/questionable decisions are being made. Somehow the people who play with the moral gray areas of the rules of mapart, gambling & copying areas of islands completely blocked off to access to the public with the excuse of "I thought it was just blocked for the design to work" (yeah that was a little specific on purpose), are the ones coming out on top and showing the rest of the server that, not only is it OK to behave like this, but your right to do so is protected. Unfortunately, Depending on who it effects or how many it effects, it might just get swept under a rug for someone else to deal with when the next complaint comes in or it effects enough people to not be able to ignore it anymore. That's just how it feels to me now anyway....
I never spoke of or questioned your actions, until you weighed in on my comments. Comments that didn't involve you but only voiced my not understanding the delay in staff action. That delay hasn't done you any favours either as it's brought the issue into the public forums. In fact, the original post wasn't really about you either, more so about the general response of staff to inappropriate images on the server. You brought yourself into this conversation. Well done on removing the map arts now and yes, it is for staff to handle, no one has said any different.
Thank you for the affirmation I genuinely needed it, glad you are still here I wanted to take this opportunity to invite you to /visit MapArts before I went to sleep. Perhaps tomorrow we can discuss cleavage and its level of appropriateness, I think it will make for an interesting talking point.

See I think there are multiple points being made here and to have an open and honest conversation about them individually we perhaps need to outline what they are. What do you believe is the point.
nooo we need men tiddie map arts #equality jk no, i honestly always found it questionable as to how map arts like this was considered acceptable. i'm not really sure why people are dragging Leo considering he made it clear he listened and removed stuff as soon as he was made aware of such an issue lol. i have always found it very weird to see these map arts widely accepted on the server. i just assumed it was allowed since staff never enforced removing them.
I’ll leave you to work that out for yourself but I’ll say one thing, it’s not about you. No one dragged Leo into this and I agree that he has done the right thing by removing the map arts as soon as he found they were a problem. He did respond to comments that were not relating to him as though they were and I’ve explained that. To be clear, Leo isn’t the issue, no one person is. I believe the issue has come about because map arts have gradually become less PG and that’s not been addressed. I absolutely get the issue that staff might have in coming down on individuals, because the staff are players as well and penalising friends is not something anyone wants to do, but I think the majority of people agree that it now needs addressing and doing that the right way takes proper consideration. My main comment was simply that, I didn’t understand why map arts that were acknowledged by staff to violate the rules, weren’t brought down straight away. It would have prevented this thread entirely.
So then, are we saying every single mapart that contains a woman with big boobs is now contraband, or just ones sold specifically to sexualize the *fictional* characters? Also, I will say, it's definitely just as disrespectful to say that all pictures of women's breasts are sexy. That kind of makes you part of the problem. If it's done in an artistic way rather than just to be sexualized, I do think it should be fine. Also, if we're worried about children, why are there maparts allowed to be made of adult stars and the like as well? I just am asking to clear things up for myself. Thanks : )
