personally i don't think it's eco's fault that there's no longer a $250 rank anymore so why should they be deprived of this perk? if in the future they add a new rank/re-add overlord, just take away the perk but i'd love to see coloured names and even coloured prefixes applicable to highrollers
I have a few ideas, any of which being implemented would be great. Just figure I'd come back on here and present them. 1) Bringing back colored nicks in general. - We had it for nearly a decade, I don't see the point in taking it away when nearly 50% of the players on at any given time are all Highrollers. 2) Bringing (back) out a new rank above Highroller - Would give the ability to color your nick. (Bring back Overlord?) - This could reduce the number of people with the ability to color their names if the concern is too many players would have that ability? 3) Making 'colored nick' a feature you can buy separately in /buy. 4) Implementing a command to hide colored names - If one of the concerns is "people would think chat would be rainbow-filled" (which wasn't the case for the decade-ish that we had this ability) then creating a command that would show people with colored names back to yellow names could be an option. All in all, there are ways to eliminate any sort of doubt. Whether that be too many players having the ability leaving the chat color-filled, other players getting annoyed by the colors, a single rank which is owned by nearly 50% of the players on having the ability to colorize their nick, etc. It can be worked around. I'd love to hear everybody's thoughts, especially if anyone has any other ideas they'd like to add. Thank you.

It only makes sense!! Never understood the reasoning to take our colored nicks away. There wasn’t an issue!
Any economy player knows that survival often gets more attention. The last big update for economy that I know of, was the update to /shop to where the prices of buy and sell were more accurate and reasonable(C0rrect me if I'm wrong). This was a battle that also had its own thread and many people fought for. The ability to change colors wouldn't just be a neat function to have, it would also work in making the two servers (Survival and Economy) equal. I do agree that if it is another rank that needs to be applied, then that would be what would have to happen. And, thanks to Queen 's amazing numbers we know that there is a base of people who play on economy that would be willing to get this rank. I don't think it would be rainbow vomit, I think it would be another pay for people to express themselves, and enjoy the server more. This would be an amazing feature for economy players. And I really want to have a pretty pink name lol. 100% Support
Three years after suggesting this, i’ll finally tag Noobcrew and feel comfortable doing it. With over 32+ Support Ratings without a single No Support rating, it seems like the vast majority of the community would love for this feature to be implemented. We feel stripped of the once-available feature that had no issue within Economy. Now that Economy is the more active server, it feels like a Quality of Life update is much needed to sustain an engaged playerbase. Whether that be a big update with a new rank, commands, crates, etc.. or just a few changes here and there. A great start is adding back Colored Names!
