What’s your job irl and how many hours a week/day do you work? What’s your dream job? I’ll say mine once we get some replies ;-)
I'm an activities entertainer with a holiday park company (I run activities sessions including but not limited to: segway tours, climbing wall sessions, pottery painting and teddybear making) I work 6 days a week, Mondays off. I'm contracted for 36 hours a week, I'm currently doing 34 average in order to save some hours to be user during the busy season (working 42 hours this week as its kick off week) I don't really have a dream job, I just want something that'll make me happy and keep me busy This is a nice idea for a thread queen
I'm delivering food for elderly ppl in and around the city I live in. I work 8h/W and have like 3-5 days "shifts" with like a week off in between. Besides driving food around town, I am a fulltime uni student and about to hand in my theses and graduate ^^ I do YT and twitch and am about to open an art business but I dont think that really counts as job, eventho I get a tiny bit of money out of it. My dream job....hmm..I dont really know ^^ Beeing a Mum at some point, doing art, theaching Dramaclass...what ever makes me happy
I lead a team of 13 people (one manager under me) in corporate America. I'm responsible for a large portion of the "Microsoft 365 Ecosystem" including email, Teams, OneDrive and the like. This is not my dream job. I enjoy leading people, to a point, but I'm tired of managing people. I'm a technical person at heart and my background is more in "infrastructure", and responsibility for a bunch of SaaS offerings is not as fulfilling as one might think. I've been pursuing AWS certifications in an attempt to eventually transition back to "individual contributor" and hoping to get back to Infrastructure Architecture for the cloud (just finished AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional and going after AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional next). I'm also probably in one of the smaller demographics for this server and game as I'm in my 50s.
I work in Cyber Security for a large bank in the Insider Threats department. I'm unsure what my dream job is. I already like what I do and once I stop enjoying it, I'll just probably change to another domain of Cyber Security.

I'm currently a full time student in business but I'm looking for a job near me so i can work after school, unfortunately there's barely any offers besides cleaning ones lol ;-; but im tryna find a job in a store My Dream Job is I guess NPO ? (Non-Profit-Organization), my childhood dream is to be a singer/dancer but thats just a childhood dream :shrug: but yeah i just really want to help people, not the hospital type of helping
I'm currently working as an Electrical Apprentice and will hopefully be fully qualified Electrician at the end of this year. For the nerds out there I work to NZS 3000 and the Electrical Safety Act 1992 as I live in New Zealand (typically a 230V, 50Hz, MEN Link based system). I typically work a Monday to Friday (at the moment around 60 hours per week). The projects to which I am currently involved are in the Commercial sector, with examples being Schools, Churches, etc. I have successfully led several of these projects and am currently in the process of leading the Electrical side of a new Church project. Not sure where I will go with this. I have some ideas, with them being Electrical Engineering, Signal Technician for railways or just continuing with what I have going at the moment. I don't have a dream job specifically, I just want something that keeps me busy, pays the bills, challenges me and makes me think.
my current job is checkouts at a grocery store and ugh i hate it. i mean it's money so oh well, plus i actually like the people i regularly work with. definitely not my dream job, as i'd rather NOT work.
