Why is a trader offering 20x more than /shop?
Atleast put it at a discounted rate, I mean

 

There is only like 6 things that are useful to buy from trader. (I can name like 3)

 

Right, I mean even if those items aren't "useful", they could at the very least be cheaper than /shop.

Or am i missing something

 

fr, the only things that ARE useful is like shulker shells and scrap (there might be more, lmk.)

 

I honestly thought it felt useless on survival, but seeing how it works on eco is even weirder and seems such a waste

/shop is infinite.

In real life, why would one walk to the back of the store to buy something for the price of 200 when the exact same item (same brand) right next to the entrance is 10. /shop is more convenient so there's 0 trade-off here. It's a wasted opportunity..

 

tldr: stop yapping and make a suggestion

 

Its a discussion post. The whole point is to yap.

 

There should be a restriction than the trader cannot be worse than /shop as it kinda eliminates the purpose. Having bad trades such as deepslate is still apart of the trader but prices shouldn’t be terrific, they should be reasonable. If you gonna buy from there at least cheaper than /shop.

I find these ones to be worth buying, alongside some others like glowstone.
