The default behavior in Minecraft that an arrow that strikes a wooden button activates it. Seems like that should happen in Skyblock as well. If an island owner doesn't want visitors interacting with buttons they can use a stone button and /settings to prevent it.

This non-vanilla behavior is preventing certain fun builds, one in particular that I'm trying to create. And, no, a target block wouldn't be ideal for what I'm trying to build.

By the way, it appears that fired arrows are immediately cleared, presumably to reduce entities and related lag. My guess is that wooden buttons probably need a tick to activate, and that the arrow is being cleared before that can happen. If we could give the arrow a tick or two (for redstone it might take two ticks) before clearing it, perhaps we could get the best of both worlds.

If you think arrows and wooden buttons should interact as per default Minecraft, please click the Support response below. If not, please share your thoughts as to why it shouldn't.

    Thanks!

Arrows with any redstone is disabled if you disable redstone intera tion, which also includes repeaters, comparators etc

If you enable those, then arrows work.

I recently made an archery minigame using target blocks hidden around a small area, that when shot at toggled an interaction within the game. Eg let fireworks off toggle portals, open doors etc. But after building all the redstone I realised that target blocks also fall under redstone in the settings menu, and therfore can't be enabled. I've since used observers with string but this limits what would have been an awesome minigame. I'd support wooden buttons, target blocks, to be enabled separately for arrows. Maybe there could be an arrow true/false option, where these could be enabled.
Also, shooting a empty item frame breaks it if trusted or not, and shooting item frames with a flame arrow keeps the frame lit forever until the isle gets reloaded lol.

Also, spectral arrows can be picked back up after being shot, so maybe they could work with redstone as is now
