I’ve been curious about the variations of some heads and I am not very knowledgeable about the sources of these, like the yellow New Year Lantern. If it wasn’t created from a glitch, what created it? Was the head changed on purpose during the event?
The multiple times it’s happened what usually happens is the hunt or gift etc opens then within ten minutes they decide they lored it the wrong colour so they change it and then some staff frantically try and regain control of the already claimed heads (while perhaps taking some for themselves allegedly ) but sometimes they can’t get them all and thus creates the rarity that are the off lore colour heads whether on purpose or not only those who run these things know.
Was the yellow clock not from crew accidently adding the '3pm' version of the skin (which he realized was a mistake since new year's is at 12:00 not 3 lmao. (the yellow clocks hand is turned to 3:00 pm/am) and the normal version is 12:00.
Interesting, I didn’t know this. If staff is confiscating these variations of heads, does this mean that they are against the rules to own? I see many people selling these variations, at what point does staff stop confiscating them? I’m just curious because i have started a small collection and i don’t want to buy a yellow clock if staff will take it from me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nonono it’s good now once it’s past a certain point, but sometimes at the start they try and take back the “accidental” heads.
Ahhh ok i see. So is it bannable to hide one of these special heads from the mods on the day it is released? Also, is there any specific point the mods stop confiscating, or is it when they feel like it?
It exists because the wrong head texture was uploaded for a few minutes, I believe. The yellow clock’s hands indicate that it is 3:00, not 12:00.
Lets just say I'll personally handle gifts and rewards in the future so there will be no more "accidents".

If you're referring to ancient debris ores being mine-able at first that's a very different situation. This is about items obtained from /gifts, head hunts, etc. which Noobcrew didn't handle alone.
I mean technically I was referring to ancient debris being in bastion loot before all nether loot was disabled, but yeah same thing.
The TL;DR, as stated above is that no, this thread in it’s current state will not be updated anymore as it has reached the max text & image limits. HOWEVER, i have actively been working on a spreadsheet-based V2 of this guide. This new spreadsheet, when released will contain the newer heads (and old of course) from 2023 and forward. A preview for anyone who cares:
it will be a link directly to the spreadsheet (i chose google sheets just for public accessibility purposes, and also so people know there’s nothing fishy with the link), the spreadsheet will have all the images and text directly baked into it, which will essentially make the original thread obsolete.
