In an attempt to bring some form of profit shops back to Economy, I am giving away free money!

There is only one shop so only one person can use it at a time.
When active, it dispenses one stone every so often and you sell it back to that shop for $50 each time.
The shop is full so you can't sell your own stone there, it only dispenses the one at a time.

The timer has failed previously so let me know if it breaks and I will reset it.
I may have to look at a different timer system in future.

So if you're going afk for a bit and have an autoclicker or some sticky tape to put on your mouse.

Yeah, those days are gone sadly.

It essentially means the balance divide between established payers and new players may never be bridged.

Before my profit shop, I used others to get my start but now there's no way to pay to forward.
I'm currently looking at other ways to bring back profit shops in other forms as well.
Of course it's harder to give back when were taxed 1/3rd of what we earn.

Staff have said that cropper farms are more for established players, and that's always been the case really. Newer players relied on profit shops, now they are doing it hard.

Also, due to the restriction of 3 hopper carts per chunk, the highly efficient, vertical profit shop system of mine doesn't work any more. That's the he price we pay for a few people exploiting them (and the band-aid fix that was applied)

would only take 80 days of just grinding alone 24/7 at ideal conditions to get a dc???

I agree. It's hard to earn on Eco now. My profit shop essentially gives away 40% of what the farm makes. And that 18k per hour is tax free.

I don't agree with the rate of 10k per SB grass though and these number highlight how much that is out by.
Yes there have been a number of players trying to sell grass at that rate but I don't know how much luck they have had so don't let that guide you.
I could afford to pay that (although I don't) because I have already spent many many millions to establish a farm over the course of several years. But new players wont pay anything near that.

That's the big difference between Eco and SB. On Eco, once established, the $'s just roll in. On SB, you have to continue to work for your grass.

Since the death of profit shops, I'd say we're back closer to the 1k:1 grass rate.

$18,000 per hour might not seem like a lot, but to a new player, it's a huge help.
This is from a new player back when it was paying out $12,000 per hour.



So yeah, while things have gotten harder for the new players and taxes are slugging everyone even before profits are made, I'm trying to help out.

 

i just use 10k:1g as a approximate value for any calculations. I cant be bothered remembering 8,147:1g or 11,489:1 or whatever the accurate value is
