The current requirement for this quest is to gain 20 experience LEVELS.
This is quite a task to do in 24 hours for players who are sitting on 30-40 experience level already unless they use them all up first.

That might not seem too much of an ask but I am currently sitting on close to 5000 experience levels and with many players earning income by way of killing animals to sell the drops, I'm sure there are many others for whom this quests is quite impossible

The suggestion is that rather than have to gain 20 experience levels, players need only gain 550 experience points. That is the number of points required to go from level 0 to 20.
To go from level 20 to level 40 however requires 2370 xp points

Another way to look at it, a player on xp level 0, would have to kill about 275 pigs while a player on level 40 would have to kill about 1185 pigs. Me..... well I might get there in about 10 years....maybe.

 

Strongly agree. It makes more sense and is more fair to have it be a set amount of XP points gained, rather than the arbitrary amount of x levels which changes the overall amount of XP needed per player

 

I was able to complete the quest by gaining only 7 experience points, so only 1 experience level (technically)
Took only a couple minutes although I had to do it on a greenie.

I killed about 5 pigs to get to level 1.
Deliberately died at my home spawn dropping my xp down to 0.
Respawn, go home and reclaim the xp dropped upon death.
Do this 20 times.

Quest completed.

In fact if you do this, starting with 20 xp, then you only have to die and reclaim the xp about 7 times to complete the quest.

Players that keep their xp on death can just spend it enchanting shovels, then they really only have to go from say lvl 4 to lvl 5 20 times which is far easier than 0-20.

My suggestion would stop this workaround.

 

Support, would make the quest possible for users with a high xp level.

It's not possible for anyone with a high xp level and simple for others simply by spending and gaining xp.

I managed to gain 1 xp level in 24 hours of grinding when this quest came up today.

I am only able to complete this quest once and only by completing the achievements that award XP levels.

 

I support this!!! It is way too hard for higher levels!

 

We'll disable this specific quest for now. Might return with an experience point instead of level goal in the future.
