Global Re-enable accurate drops for entity stacks.

    I realise this has been suggested before and reason given as to why the 'temporary' measure was put in place but I'm chasing an update on it and the original thread was closed.

    Dexuby, you mentioned that accurate drops would likely return in the future so I'm hoping to find out if there has been any progress on this or if you have an ETA.
    I'm sure there are a lot of fixes you are working on, but for players who have paid for the Mob spawner Kit, or 2 of them as in my case, they are not really getting what they have paid for.

    Noobcrew seems to prefer the way it works right now however mobs shouldn't stack anymore while in the air so farms that rely on fall damage shouldn't be as affected anymore.

    The issue is that they stack before they fall. Once they are falling, they are away from the spawner.

    I have many stacks of 99,999 pigs.
    I would prefer to drop them all creating just one entity, yes a large number but just one entity. Instead, I will have to have many stacks burning and filtering through hoppers into chests, which will no doubt be more demanding on the server.
    Perhaps not enough to be a concern though, but I thought I'd mention it if it is a factor.

    I think they also don't stack in water so maybe you can adjust your farm? For now Noobcrew decided to keep it disabled.

    They do stack in water. I switched to water farms, where they spawn in water, and removed all the pistons as soon as that was possible.
    No worries, I will set up a number of cookers, feeding into chest shops.

    Bumping this.
    From Dex’s comments above it appears that the mob merge isn’t functioning as it was intended and he’s mentioned that it might be reversed.

    For now, we’re having to cook large stacks of mobs in lava, catch all drops in a hopper mine cart, then into another hopper, into a dispenser which spits them out and then back into an array of hoppers into our chests.
    One such set up is not adequately fast enough so we run several of these each requiring a rapid redstone pulse.

    If we could once again get appropriate loot by dropping the stacked mobs through lava to fall to their death we could do this so much easier.

    support! i dont know why i didnt say so earlier when i previously saw this, but i do think that it would add more use to farms and be more convenient
