Only thing I can tell you right now is that crew no longer liked the idea of jobs being a consistent way to earn money and the leveling system. The new concept isn't ready yet.
Speaking of coming soon/up in the air updates, are mob spawners still a WIP? Its been a good last few updates but the spawners haven't been added or talked about much on Eco (which was a big part of the 1.19 update I thought, would be fun to use and experiment with)
Literally the reason I tore down my old really efficient mob farm in preparation for the new mob spawners, only to find out they're never actually being released lol. It really would be great to start utilising hostil mob spawners
I read it as: Say No Fortune: 25% more drops. Fortune I: ADD'S 18.6% more drops. Fortune II: AND THEN 9% more drops. Fortune III: AND THEN AGAIN 1.6% more drops. Think is like this no?
Ahhh good news, they were so over priced in the beta, but then that would mean the hostile spawners would be utilised by people making proper farms for them so I guess a higher price is worth it, especially as when players resell the hostil spawners they'll likely become cheaper over time
Can't do much about it, the initial system (getting rewarded for actively doing all sorts of things) that people could test on the beta server is ready since months. The new system is supposed to give you contracts that you can get from NPCs at spawn, completing such a contract will reward you and there will be a daily contract limit. Still waiting on more details.
The current price of passive spawners might be worth considering. Not sure if players would want to see the price of them come crashing down.
Pigs were always 100k in shop but 50-60k in player shops. The reason they're selling above 100k, is because the spawner shop isn't available. Pig spawnrs shouldn't really be above 100k in the shop menu imo.
That's awesome to hear, hopefully that gets sorted out. I think prices for most of them were good in the beta, some were probably a little too high but I think mob profit shops/chests would be the next big thing (and it'd probably pay back quicker than melon farms, just more of a manual grind).
