Okay so I have an idea thanks to having a maximum extension for my island, so why not? I intend to keep building out with moss for terraforming as it looks like grass and is not expensive to obtain. I have already built some things on my island /visit TeelerSwift69 but I am stuck on what else to do. I also want to try find solid decorations which fit a similar vibe to the current buildings at the moment. I am looking for some advice in general, I am nowhere near finished building the terraforming and the ground of the entire island, but I am playing it by ear, making a building then the terraforming depending on where it is, for example. I do need a suggestion of what else I can do, because frankly I don't know. I might have a casino under my bank but I don't know how to make any of the sort. I would like ideas for types of things I can build, like shops, decoration ideas, types of buildings, etc. I would really appreciate any ideas and if you could even show me some examples! I never credit the building as my own, considering I follow tutorials and make changes from them. MOST RECENT UPDATE FIRST UPDATES EDITED OUT
I genuinely think you would be able to do it yourself with practice, and it's okay to watch tutorials, which is what I do anyway. I also would struggle a lot because I can't fly on the economy server, and on top of that since I don't play economy I would genuinely keep forgetting to check it out so I don't think I would be very reliable in that sense to be frank </3 but I am really happy you liked what I was doing so far.
Add bunches of trees and bushes, custom built if you’re feeling extra, maybe texturise the massive green moss fields with other blocks like green concrete and terracotta, perhaps break it up with some rock formations. Moss is great as cheap grass but it’s needs texturing to really pop. The bank really looks like an old western cowboy bank, so maybe you could add a saloon/bar or a sheriffs office too.
UPDATE #1: Removed the crop farm and built it next to the bakery! Also built market stalls and areas for them! UPDATE #2: Extended the bank out so that next door is where a casino will be. There will be a place you fall to land in the casino as obviously it won't fit in such a small area. UPDATE #3: Built a custom tree!
OVERALL I decided I want to get rid of market stalls and just do like a town square type thing with multiple shops and buildings together. I thought it would look fairly neat. Definitely a work in progress, but it is coming along alright! UPDATE #1: A corner cafe! UPDATE #2: I moved the bank and made it a bit bigger to fit in the street! UPDATE #3: A wool shop! UPDATE #4: Apartment/Motel Rooms??? Not sure why but I thought it'd add variety to the build itself.

UPDATE: I did not like how things were going in my last update, so I got it all taken down and I am redoing stuff. I am going to make like streets and all that, with decorative houses, to take advantage of the space I have! My cheap self just using bones in places where full quartz blocks would be, haha, but no I think this is coming along nicely and I know I can use all sorts of different block pallets!
UPDATE: Realized with an island expansion I was gifted, I can make map art in an area on my island! Didn't think there were any Lana Del Rey fans, but I guess people loved the design as I have had a few sales from it!
Love threads like this, also made an island progression thread, and its very nice to keep the progress so you can look back from where you started!
