I'm mining cobble to sell on Eco and a lot of it despawns before I even pick it up. It's gone after mere seconds.

 

i agree its a bit fast, the fact that it can stack into huge stacks now should solve more of the entity issues, i feel like half normal despawn speed or a quarter is better, it feels like if im building it just is gone in like 5-10 sec and i gotta get more often cuz of it

20 seconds is all we have to collect cobble before it despawns.
I don't know if this should be a suggestion or a bug report because surely this can't be intended.

cobble despawns very fast, if a player died with cobble on them by the time they make it to their items all the cobble would have despawned

 

Supporting this, I emptied a double chest of cobble for a new player to pick up, and it all despaired infront of us on survival. Big L

 

I’ve seen cobble despawn in as little as 12 seconds.
That’s ridiculous.

 

The amount of complaints on this, I need to support this. I Feel like while cobble is something that stacks up so much for the average player, it should at least have a minute or so to give people a chance to decide if they want it

 

I realise cobble is often thrown away on Skyblock but on Eco it can be sold for balance.

Also, if it’s considered so worthless, why is it in vote crates?

 

I wish there was a way to turn off cobble in /preferences.

 

Us eco players are addicted to cobble and we know its a problem. This addiction can not be stopped

Netherrack also despawns really fast, when I first saw this thread I honestly didn’t feel it was that big of a deal until I witnessed it myself. I think it’ll be nice to have time to pick up the stuff before it despawns. Support

Bumping this as cobble seriously despawns far too quickly.

 

helped a new player build a cobble gen the other day and was watching the cobble disappear before it had been in the water for 10 seconds.

 

Crazy how this hasn’t been addressed at all, there are a ton of items I could get faster than cobble and takes 5 minutes to despawn so causing lag shouldn’t end up being a problem for fixing this
