What about having a huge mine where we can get like iron, coal and redstone and stuff like that, I reckon it'd be pretty sweet.

This will be bad for business because as a donator, we receive ingame donor kits for items that will be mined. The items we receive can also be bought which in turn, will mean less money for the server.

Its a skyblock server, not the normal minecraft model of near-infinite resources. To go from minimal starting resources, using game mechanisms in creative ways. The donor stuff is enough to assist without great imbalance. We already have infinite iron (when normal minecraft iron golems work) and infinite charcoal. Things like redstone and lapis are needed, in small quantity. Diamond in fact is not necessary (though its a nice luxury), unless one requires 2 for an enchanting table.

In addition, any alterations of normal minecraft game mechanisms (e.g., iron golems, lack of emerald trade, etc.) and game economy should be well planned for long term Skyblock game stability.

It makes everything too easy. And breaking skyblock would be an understatement.

No, because people could get WAY to many minerals for just donating. The econemy would be completely corrupted.

As stated before, this will never happen. Ever. This server's gameplay is different than that of a normal server.

That's my afk design. His design makes a wall which thousands of times faster than my design. My design basically allows you to afk for long periods of times to come back to over 1000 smooth stone ready to be mined (if afked for that long).
