Was thinking ... but adding a broken status on Anvil so that you can no longer use anymore rather than disappearing and then adding the ability to smelt anvils inside furnace to recover some iron. Even getting 24 iron would be great as that's nearly 3/4 recycled.

Although it would be a nice feature, I don't see this being implemented. This server is mostly vanilla ideas, and this defeats the way the server has been played for the past 12 years that it has been running. I think that we should stick to the same methods of getting iron that we have for ever.

Nice idea, but I do gotta agree with Wade. Mostly for the fact that the devs aren't gonna implement such a thing.

 

No need to change the vanilla anvil system.
