We were upset with Luka and made the mapart to try and cool off from the whole situation. We were upset because we didn't really understand what was happening, we were told that the warning was a mistake but it wasn't going to be taken back, and then later on we were told the warning was no mistake and that it was going to stick. I'm sorry that Luka felt bullied about the whole situation, but that was never my intent, we just felt that the situation should've been known. Hi Sky, thanks for appealing. I will be handling your appeal. Let me explain the miscommunication regarding the warning. The mistake wasn’t to do with the warning being given, it was to do with the warning being accidentally publicised. As you know from being a staff member, this is an easy thing to do and most times warnings are silenced. That is why you was told the warning was going to stick, because the warning was meant to be there. You said you were upset with Luka and that’s why you made the mapart. I understand how you and the others involved felt it was lighthearted, but there was no consideration whatsoever about how Luka would feel about it, especially after being publicly and privately interrogated and harassed by the same people who made the map art shortly before it was created. Furthermore, creating multiple versions of these map arts and then distributing to them to others added salt to the wound. Just because it was not your intent does not mean that it was not harassment or bullying. From your previous experience of being staff, you know very well how we do not take harassment in any kind lightly. I don’t understand what you mean about this, is this in regards to the distribution of the mapart?
Hello Boss, thanks for your response. Yes, I do know that harassment and bullying are against the server rules. I understand that I might've hurt Luka for making the map art and for that I do apologize. It was never my intent for it to hurt him the way it did. I made multiple copies of the map since I always do when creating a mapart to create backups in case one accidentally gets reset. I decided to make the mapart because I thought it would be a fun little thing. But it wasn't found funny and for that I am sorry. As for the "we just felt that the situation should've been known." I meant that I wanted to share the map art with others since I had just made it and wanted to tell others what had happened to get their opinion on the situation. There are better ways to go about getting others opinions on the situation than how you went about it. From the way this is wrote, it sounds as if you wanted to get people, not involved in the matter, on your side to back up some sort of case, and I hope you can see how distributing the map art to other people was a form of exposing Luka for actions he performed that were legitimate. This is not only unfair on Luka but also inconsiderate, as people not directly involved with the situation have been told one side of a story, which as you said in the original post you didn’t understand yourself. The correct way to have gone about this was to have the original warned user converse with staff to have the warning explained to them privately. If something was misunderstood, it could have easily been explained with further conversations with the staff involved to clear up confusion. This is something you should know as an experienced player and former staff member, instead of joining in on the joke. However, thank you for apologising. It would be ideal if this could be reciprocated to Luka personally.

I sincerely hope wholeheartedly that you do understand the reasons behind the ban. As an ex-staff member, I expect much better from you and it was disappointing to witness you get banned for something you should know fair and well was crossing the line. I have been and am less lenient in this instance because of these reasons in comparison to others partaking in the incident. Otherwise, I am glad to see that you apologised and that you are finally being responsible for your behaviour. Please let this incident be a lesson on how to deal with similar situations in the future in order to prevent this from happening again. I do not want to see you having to appeal again in the future, and I have faith that you won’t. You should be unbanned as soon as a moderator is able to do so.
