yea i agree! loads more suggestions should be considered before but i’d love to see this implemented

 

Forgot to mention this before but,
The Skyblock Mod highlights your name yellow and *occasionally* makes the ping I believe. I used to use this but haven’t for a while so please correct me if I am wrong.
The only issue I have with this is all the coloured adverts, mainly on Skyblock - your coloured name could easily get lost. I also know a lot of players who go into /quiet to avoid being distracted when building etc.
Maying have a command like /toggleping (similar to /pay on eco) would bring more flexibility.

Support the suggestion though, I definitely sometimes miss my name when I shouldn’t

This has actually been shipped with the latest update however in the last testing phase we noticed some flaws so it's currently disabled.

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for but I'm about to release a custom skyblock hacked client that dings when you get a message. I could make it to where it dings when your name is mentioned in chat with a cooldown pretty easily too.

 

Support, they should add many of this mods into the server so everyone can have these awesome features. The make the game way better and would be a nice quality of life update.

 

Yet again another suggestion by boba that has been left for too long. Great idea. Most likely easy to add to /settings to disable.

This would be super helpful, our chat is very colourful and sometimes it’s hard to notice when someone mentions your name

 

I like this idea, but I can see how it would get abused very easily. There would have to be some sort of a cooldown added as players could simply spam someone with repeated message pings.

Though yes I think it would definitly be a cool qol addition

 

You can already do that with /msg
