Course Layout ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I. Introduction Hey everyone! If you've been on Eco at all during the past few months, you've likely seen me in-game. I go by Surv, but you might know me as Ben. After finishing my pumpkin farm, I embarked on a journey to build an adventure/parkour map for this server to enjoy. This build took many hours of nonstop building, constant back & forths to Beens shop, and a whole lot of dedication. If you're familiar with the name Hielke, you likely have already seen this map before! Note: This is not my design, this design was built by Hielke's team, I just brought it to this server. I look forward to seeing you all attempt this parkour! II. How to Play a) Overview This map is built for a variety of different playstyles. If you're bored without anything to do, you can sit back, relax, and attempt this course without worrying about your time, failed attempts, etc. This is not a regular parkour course, as you are going to encounter many different features. For instance, once finishing a level, you may have to jump back into the previous level to get you further in the current level. Throughout this course, you will find yourself having to open doors, jump on slime blocks, open gates, activate redstone with a pressure plate, and who knows, you may even find yourself riding in a minecart! b) Bugs and/or Glitches I have spent numerous hours attempting this course myself, and I even let three individuals attempt this course before the official opening to be my "guinea pigs" to find bugs/glitches. Upon opening of the island, there are no bugs or glitches to my knowledge, so if anybody encounters one on their attemps, please inform me either here, in game, or on discord. III. Monthly Speedrunning Competition a) Rules Listed at the island spawn are a set of rules for people who are interested in speedrunning this map. There are four basic rules to this. First off, and the most obvious one, the use of /fly is strictly disallowed. Any run that has the use of /fly will be instantly disqualified from the Monthly Competition. Secondly, if you are speedrunning this map to enter into the competition, your run must be recorded on video. The last two rules are no skipping levels, and to send your video submission to me on discord. (Surv#3512) b) Rewards Each month, the Top 3 times on this course will be given a reward. You cannot submit the same video each month, it has to be a brand new run to give everybody an equal opportunity each month. The prizes are as follows: 1st Place: $5,000,000 2nd Place: $1,000,000 3rd Place: $250,000 *Note: Challenge will start the 1st of March.
