I am gonna go neutral for now, I think i mentioned in game before it would be a good idea but could possibly create several problems.
What would possibly be easier is to fix the problem of pets being able to do what they do to cause the glitch.

In my head I’m just thinking it would be super annoying to go to an island who has pets disabled and then the pet disappears, I always give my pets fancy names so it would be annoying to have to re type it or remember colours etc. This may likely not be an issue if set up correctly however I’m just thinking outside of the box.

I do believe maybe targeting why pets do what they do is a more suitable option *for now* unless everyone is so against pets :,(

Support, I think that what boba said is the best way to go about something like this. Rather than disabling pets as a whole on an island, disable pet riding.

Yeah, as you've all mostly said, the Pet ride is the operation that allows the glitching, pets themselves don't. Remove riding altogether, it's literally only used for glitching. Adding another toggle setting (unless toggle ride is off by default) will still leave lots of peoples island vulnerable.

This^^ its not necessarily pets that cause the problem , its being able to use them at other peoples islands. This would solve the problem of glitching into off limits areas using pets while also keeping specialized pet names/colors.

 

Yeah I totally agree, maybe instead of spawning the pet directly on you, the pet could spawn on a open block near you. Pets are really cool and you should be able to use them where ever!
