A few months ago we got word in an update note from Noobcrew that the servers would potentially be updated to a newer version of Minecraft, adding new blocks, items, etc. It'd be cool to know if this is still in the cards.
I hope so. I heard as well something about updating to 1.17 or something? Can’t remember where from, but I heard it from somewhere semi-credible/legit
It is going to be a big undertaking if past upgrades are taken into consideration. So i'm hopeful, but also I hope they take their time with it too so we don't have something bad happen xD
