The 3700X isn’t much less powerful than the 5600X. I’d still save your money and go with the 3600 or 3600X. They’ll be more than enough for your system.
Yeah, that’s a solid price. But you need to ask yourself if you really need that. If you only want a new PC to play Minecraft, then a 2080 is overkill. Give me a budget and I’ll compose a parts list for you.
How’s something like this? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2nXwJf Ryzen 5 3600 ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS Comes without built in WiFi; if you don’t have access to a wired internet connection, you can upgrade to the ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (WiFi) for around $20 more, or purchase an adapter for a similar price difference. 16GB 3600MHz RAM 500GB M.2 SSD I would use this 500GB for loading windows and your most used games. You can purchase a 2TB Hard Drive for an additional $40. RTX 3060 30 series stock is currently limited due to a silicon shortage and isn’t expected until Q3 2021. If you’re desperate for the build before Q3, you could downgrade to a 1660 Super. 650W Modular 80+ Gold PSU 650W should give you a lot of head room for future upgrades. NZXT H510 Case Extremely easy to build in, especially for a first build. Airflow isn’t too great, but it’s good enough. You could always throw some extra fans inside in the future. Stock CPU Cooler The 3600 should come with a wraith stealth cooler. In total, the build should come to around $950-$1100. Let me know what you think!
k cool and isnt a rtx 3060 like pretty expensive if you have the time to can you put down the specific links of all these thanks.
The RTX 3060’s MRSP is $330, which would take your total to $1029 after the stock crisis. All the cheapest stores for the parts in the US should be listed on that link. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2nXwJf
I agree, a 3060 is complete overkill for Minecraft. But for $330; a similar price to a 1660 Super at the moment, it’s hard to say no if it’s available. Plus it fits nicely into his $1,000 budget.
Dude if you really just want 200fps on Minecraft get a laptop, should be able to do it ez, Minecraft ain’t hard to run
not really lol. you can get a $500-600 laptop that can run Minecraft or be on the lookout for discounts. I was able to get my $1600 laptop for $800 (excluding taxes and shipping) and it has pretty good specs for the price I got it for. Granted I got this on Black Friday where discounts are massive (and no I did not pay for this btw lol. I actually wanted a Lenovo but its complicated how I ended up getting this laptop) Now if you are looking at a gaming laptop yes you are correct on that statement. They are often more expensive and are best suited for being plugged in rather than on battery.
I see. Even for gaming laptops you can get a 800 dollar one that is pretty good. Best Buy has some pretty good laptops. Costco has some pretty great laptops too for around 800-900
